Ribera Del Duero y Rueda: Spanish Wine

Summer is finally on the horizon! That means longer and warmer evenings, outdoor party magic! My friends and I love to get together when its warm outside, get some bites to eat and share a glass of good wine. Our new favorite thing to do is do a dessert party in the backyard. And some delicious wine from Ribera y Rueda was the perfect compliment!

I find its always good to have a red and white wine on hand for get togethers. The “Rueda Verdeo” white wine is from Rueda, located in the heart of the historical Castilla y Leon region of Spain. The bright fresh pale yellow wine has tropical fruity notes and touches of crisp citrus and fennel.

The “Ribera del Duero” is a delicious ripe and rugged wine that will be a hit with your red wine loving friends. Its aged for 12 months in French, American and Russian oak barrels which creates a full body wine with a rich color and complex structure from the prestigious wine region of Ribera del Duero.

Ribera y Rueda wines are all about spontaneously popping open a bottle of amazing wine for a fun outdoor soirée, a special night in or a new unexpected food pairing. For more info, resources on wine pairings, a wine themed playlist and most importantly a product locator so you can find out where to buy this wine can all be found on the Ribera y Rueda Tumblr here.
