what I wore: nyfw day 1

As you can see the icy cold had not hit NYC yet so you could get away with a few layers. This week could have been called “How many ways can you wear a black turtleneck” week, as I think I wore a turtleneck every single day. I cleverly decided not to pack a scarf! My fashion week necklaces were too pretty I didn’t want to cover them up, is that a crime?! It was a comfortable outfit for a long first day in the tents, made even longer by the fact that I hopped on the wrong train and went to the express to Queens (looking like Madeline).

I bought this cute overalls dress from on a whim (link bellow) and am so glad I did, its so versatile and I love the old school style. I think it will be really nice to wear in summer too, with tees or a bandeau top. All of my accessories are from my favorite new online vintage store called, CellarDoor Sequins. Great name huh? You need to check out the store (& new FB page) and be wowed by amazing pieces from decades past.
