WHAT TO WEAR TO A MEETING

Someone recently commented on how put together I looked at a meeting during this heatwave we are having in NYC. I chuckled to myself wondering how that could be as I arrived out of breathe and totally frazzled. It must have been my outfit, which goes to show that clothing really is your armor and having the right look for work or a meeting can really pay off or give you the confidence you need.

I like to think about what I am going to wear the night before, to save time in the morning and so I can just do my hair and make up and prep for the meeting over coffee. This has become my go-to professional summer look, culottes, a feminine blouse, a stacked nude heel and a big bag I can carry my notebook in as well as a pair of flats for when I am over my heels. I feel like the look is fashionable enough without being too over the top or distracting.
