Coming up on my fourth year of blogging, I decided to change things up. I have learned so much about photography, people, brands, the fashion industry but most importantly I have learned so much about myself through running this blog. I actually started a blog as travel diary but it soon evolved into a more fashion focused space after I started shooting street style. I never imagined it would grow into what it has become today, and honestly it’s really amazing to have a digital scrapbook of the past few years, the good, the bad and the ugly (outfits).
Moving forward in a new year, my blog has got a new name. Ascot Road is the name of the beloved street I grew up on in Cape Town, South Africa, where I would daydream all day and submerge myself in piles of travel books and fashion magazines. I named my new blog this, as I am about to embark on another big move and want to remind myself of home and how far I have come. Its important to celebrate your achievements in life, big and small.
The blog will still feature my style antics but I also want to share more of my photography, creative inspirations, travel destinations I visit, new products I am loving as well as the people behind the brands that make these amazing things.
I am so grateful for every person who has stuck with me, all my good friends, as well as the people who log on every once and a while and also every new person who stumbles across my blog and reads my posts. Thank you! I have loved writing every post and connecting with every reader that comments or reaches out.I am so excited to share some fun project in the works on the new space!
I hope you like the new fresh and clean look!
PS. I have made the first Facebook page for my blog, click here to like it and follow along, I appreciate all the support, thank you!
