Winter is in full force over here in America, and I can safely say we are all sick of the rain, snow and freezing temps. It makes you want to crawl under a blanket and hibernate till the sun decides to show its face again. Its so difficult to stay active and motivated. But I find staying active essential to not just looking good but more importantly feeling good.

I teamed up with the super cute brand Peony & Me to reveal my my favorite active and contemporary pieces from their line and my top tips for staying active in winter! I was imediately drawn to their adorable prints and trendy details like pearl embellishments and cut outs.

1. First off get yourself some cute new active wear. For two reasons, firstly putting on your new look will make you more excited to workout and secondly you can easily transition your active wear gym look to your after work-out contemporary outfit with a few simple changes. Making working out way less of a hassle to your day. I love dressing up my Peony & Me leggings.

2. Since its too cold to run outside take advantage of indoor classes at your gym or try something different like flywheel or barre!

3. Find a workout buddy. I always work out more if I have someone to meet up with, it holds your accountable and makes the time fly by.

4. If you find cardio like time on the treadmill or elliptical super boring, save up all your Snapchats/ IG stories and watch them during your workout. Or watch your guilty pleasure reality TV (hellp Bravo!)

    I love that lace print crop top. Man, I think I would find it tough to get motivated over there in the cold to workout. I would be needing some good looking activewear to get started! I am quite addicted to some youtube pilates and yoga workout videos at the moment. More so than the gym. I even made my boyfriend do some with me last night when he asked for dessert. Haha, if he wants it, he can work for it!
