ONLINE BRA SHOPPING – TRUE & CO REVIEW

You have heard that crazy bra statistic right? That about 75% of women are currently wearing the wrong bra size. So what do we do about it? Put a day aside and try to figure it out on your own by trying on 100 bras in a department store? Or let a stranger measure you at a store that offers free fitting? If you are not keen on any of these options or want to find a bra that fits without leaving home you may want to look into True & Co.

True & Co is an online bra store that claims they can provide you with a perfect fitting bra if you just complete their 2 minute online quiz. Bra shopping has never been a pleasant experience for me so I was excited when I was offered to try the service. Here’s what happens;

• You take the online quiz that asks you a range questions with helpful illustrations. The quiz was super quick and there is no measuring tape needed.
• After answering the questions on your ideal bra shape, style and cut True & Co’s algorithm provides you with choices based on your answers. You then pick 3 of your faves from the selection, which styles and brand really impressed me. I had difficulty narrowing down my choices.
• Then True & Co mails you your 3 choices plus 2 other bras picked out for you by their experts. The bras arrived neatly packed in colorful tissue paper in True & Co’s nice big white box. I loved 4 of the bras I received as soon as I tried them on, I wasn’t sure about the 5th one picked out for me, a nude strapless number, but after giving it a few days and trying it on again, I loved that one too.
• If you want to return any or all of the bras you log onto the website and print a return label. You are just billed for the bras you keep. I decided to keep all of the bras I received.

Of course all women have different needs when it comes to bras, as we are all uniquely blessed in that area. But I would definitely recommend giving True & Co a try, especially if you are a fan of home try on or subscription programs like Warby Parker or Birchbox.
