If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen I swapped New York skyscrapers for palm trees as I was in South Beach with my bestie, Charlotte and Hawaiian Tropic for Miami Swim Week! If you have never heard of it before, its when the tents go up by the beach and the best hotels host runway and trade shows for the countries hottest swim and resort-wear brands.
I was so happy to do this collaboration with Hawaiian Tropic as quality sun care is something I really care out. I know summertime means finally getting a tan for a lot of people but we have to remember to protect our skin from the harsh rays while having fun in the sun.
Charlotte and I got kitted out with the new Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Weightless Lotion Sunscreen, which has a new luxurious formula with a light, air-soft texture for sun protection your hardly feel. The signature Hawaiian Tropic blend of hydrating ribbons of silk protein and shea butter provides up to 12 hours moisturization that leaves your skin fresh, hydrated and pampered.
As its summer time and everyone is packing or prepping for a getaway, I thought it would be fun to list some of my must have and essential items for a beach vacation…
ONE: Firstly you need to pack your sunscreen so you dont forget the most important essential! I love the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Weightless Lotion Sunscreen because of its lightweight feel.
TWO: Cute luggage makes that long haul so much easier, this summer I have been toting the adorable Luminous Grid Weekender by Kestrel.
THREE: I always take my black on black Ray Ban Aviators on vacay with me and they go with whatever I am wearing and gold or silver accessories.
FOUR: Some of my must have items to pack this summer are; Sam Edelman studded slides, L Space High Waisted Bikini (so chic!) and a classic straw hat.
Stay tuned for part 2 of this collab with Hawaiian Tropic to see the Miami Swim Week recap & learn more about our post-vacation routine featuring the Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Ultra Radiance After Sun Moisturizer.
