They say “only the boring get bored”, I think there is some truth to that. I cant remember the last time I was actually bored, I always keep myself ridiculously busy and am constantly on the go. Living the city girl/ wanderlust life, certain elements make everyday life not only easier to get through but make each day more stylish and fun. I call these my “on-the-go” items. Warby Parker, to me is the perfect “on-the-go” brand. With their effortlessly cool designs and revolutionary price point all wrapped up with an awesome home try-on program and excellent customer service, they have become the brand of choice for so many movers and shakers living an on-the-go lifestyle.
I was of course delighted when Warby Parker contacted me to collaborate. It was tough but I chose my 5 favorite frames from their collection and styled and shot them around Washington DC. The photos were shot by talented local photographer Walter Grio, we wanted the shoot to have a focus on transport since DC has so many great modes of public transport that I use to get around everyday.
Every week I am feature a pair of my favorite Warby Parker Frames set in a classic DC spot. First up is “Preston” at Union Station.
The “Preston” frames are such an amazing classic shape, I tried them in “Gimlet Tortoise” which sofened the look of them but with the shape and color combo they still made a statement. Check out the “Preston” here, they also make lovely sunglasses!
