If you know me, you know I have become skincare obsessed in the past year, that’s why I am so excited to be partnering with SkinCeuticals to feature some of their amazing products and services!
Last week I was lucky enough to go to the SkinCeuticals D.O.S.E event, which was launching their amazing personalized, professional service, Custom D.O.S.E, that creates a product for you based on your own skin.
From monograms to charm bracelets everyone loves personalization, but I have yet to see innovation like this in the skincare space. The Custom D.O.S.E (Diagnostic Optimization Serum Experience) is a special compounding machine that precisely combines the ingredients you need into a corrective serum.
The first step in the process was getting evaluated by Dr. Killeen from Cassileth Plastic Surgery, she sat with me and we went over my skin type, what I have been using in my skincare routine and all of my current concerns. For me that’s fine lines coming in, skin texture and breakouts.
Then Dr. Killeen entered my information into the diagnostic tool and the machine measured and combined the ingredients I needed for my own serum. Some ingredients that were combined for me were
- Licorice Root & Mulberry extract to help promote even skin tone
- Hydrovance to help maintain moisture levels
- Retinol to help promote cell turnover and reduce appearance of fine lines.
Then in real time the D.O.S.E machine compounded the ingredients right in front of my eyes! It was so cool to see!
I have just started using my Custom D.O.S.E serum so I can’t wait to start seeing results, but so far only in a few days I can say I am loving the way it feels. I will keep you posted on how it goes!
