BIRCHBOX DINNER

Birchbox sure knows the way to a girls heart. First they made me smile by sending a cute paper invitation in the mail. Paper! Who does that anymore? (You may know this about me but even though I am a digital girl, I still have a love for real invites, hard copies, books, magazines, ect) The invitation was to attend a special dinner Birchbox was holding in at Malmaison in Georgetown. I was blown away by the beautiful evening and felt lucky to be one of the guests. Everything from the reception to the decor to the food was gorgeous, not that I would expect anything less from an event thrown by Birchbox and the stylish ladies of Skirt PR.

I had a wonderful night with my date (Carlis of Spicy Candy DC), I think I was sitting at the best table in the house as I got to catch up with friends, Jennifer (Comme Coco) and Rachel (Project Beltway), as well as make some lovely new friends. Blogging events are often over packed and can feel forced sometimes, but this event had a fun and relaxed atmosphere that had everyone smiling. After talking with so many moves and shakers in the fashion, beauty and PR world and then hearing Birchbox co-founder, Katia Beauchamp speak, I left the dinner feeling inspired and motivated. Thank you to Birchbox & Skirt PR for a night to remember.
