The days are long and temperatures are high, that means one thing- its summertime! As we all try to make the most of the sunshine by finding a pool to dip into or get away to the beach, we are reminded that the vacation days are soon going to slip into back-to-work/ back-to-school time. I am lucky enough to work from home most days of the week so I have been able to enjoy the beautiful weather while working on my roof or tiny balcony.
As the days start to slowly pick up again and get busier and busier I need to make sure my outfits are not just summertime stylish but also comfy enough to run around all over NYC in. My everyday shoes are Converse Chuck Taylors, they have been my favorite since I was 15 years old. Some things never change. They are my go-to shoes because they are totally timeless and white ones are so easy to wear just about anything! From jeans, to dresses to jumpsuits.
I thought I’d share a little picture diary of a “day in my shoes” which usually includes, meetings in Manhattan, shooting for the blog, pulling clothes from showrooms for future shoots, working on creative consulting and fitting in as much coffee as possible. Not pictured; turning my room upside down getting ready in a rush, riding the subway (alot) and general daily struggles of running your own business- real talk. But at the end of the day I am grateful for my crazy life where no two days are the same. And where I get to do what I am truly passionate about.
